HEU AND EARLY MODEL EJECTION CYLINDERS REPAIR (Sheet 2 of 4)

Use spanner wrench to remove retaining plate (H) from cylinder head (J).

Remove preformed packing (K) and packing assembly (L) (Early Model) seal pack (L) (HEU Model) from
cylinder head (J). Discard packing (K) and packing assembly (L) or seal pack (L).
CLEANING AND INSPECTION:
WARNING
Cleaning agent specified is flammable. Use only in well ventilated areas. Keep away
from flames, sparks, or heat. Do not smoke while using. Prevent contact with eyes,
mouth, and/or skin. Wear rubber gloves when performing cleaning procedures.
1.
Use dry cleaning solvent to clean all metallic parts.
2.
Use rags to dry all parts.
3.
Inspect all parts for damage or wear. Replace all unserviceable parts.
