HOLD-DOWN CYLINDER ARMOR REPLACEMENT (Sheet 1 of 1)
TOOLS:
3/4 in. combination box and open end wrench
3/4 in. socket with 1/2 in. drive
5 in. extension with 1/2 in. drive
Ratchet with 1/2 in. drive
Lockwashers (3 required)
SUPPLIES:
TM 5-5420-202-10
REFERENCE:
REMOVAL:
1.
Using socket on screw (A) and wrench on nut
(B), remove three screws (A), nuts (B), and
lockwashers (C).
Pull armor (D) forward, then up, and remove from

vehicle.
INSTALLATION:
1.
Position armor (D) on vehicle and slide it
rearward to aline holes.
2.
Insert three screws (A).
place lockwashers (C) and start nuts
3.
(B) on three screws (A).
4.
Using socket on three screws (A) and wrench on nuts (B), tighten screws (A).
