INSPECT COMBINATION BEACH/SEA END SECTION NON-POWERED MODULE
FLEXOR ASSEMBLY
WARNING
All personnel must wear personal flotation device, hard hat, safety shoes and gloves
during FC operations and maintenance. Failure to observe these precautions could
result in serious injury or death.
NOTE
The following procedure is typical for all flexors.
1.
Inspect uninstalled flexors (1) for separation of the polyurethane material (2) in the center. If found, replace
flexor (1).
2.
Inspect uninstalled flexors (1) for cracks in the external weldments (3) on the ends. If found, replace flexor (1).
3.
Inspect installed flexors (1) for separation of the polyurethane material (2) in the center. If found, replace
flexor (1) after the exercise or operation is completed.
4.
Inspect installed flexors (1) for cracks in the external weldments (3) on the ends. If found, replace flexor (1).
