PERSONNEL SHELTER
Location
The personnel shelter is located on the deck of the FC platform.
Description
The personnel shelter provides a controlled environment for soldiers supporting the FC platform. The personnel
shelter equipment is contained in a 20 ft ISO container. The shelter is equipped with a heating and cooling system
(heat pump), incinerator toilet, AC lighting system, portable fire extinguishers, a battle lantern, bench seating for
personnel, a table and a personnel escape scuttle located in the wall over the bench seat. The personnel shelter
receives electrical power from the 10 KW or 15 KW tactical quiet generator. The personnel shelter weighs 9000 lbs.
