ENGINE FAILS TO SHUT DOWN
SYMPTOM
Engine cannot be shut down.
MALFUNCTION
Faulty control panel key switch.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace control panel key switch. (WP 0151 00)
Perform operational check of light tower engine. (TM 55-1945-205-10-4)
MALFUNCTION
Faulty engine oil pressure switch.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace defective oil pressure switch. (WP 0140 00).
MALFUNCTION
Defective shutdown solenoid.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace shutdown solenoid. (WP 0152 00)
Perform operational check of light tower engine. (TM 55-1945-205-10-4)
