WATER SEPARATOR FUEL FILTER OUTLET HOSE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT (Sheet 2 of 3)
3. Using 7/8 inch wrench, remove
hose assembly (C) from elbow (E)
of water separator fuel filter (F).
C L E A N I N G AND INSPECTION:
Dry cleaning solvent P-D-680 is toxic and
flammable. To prevent personal injury, wear
protective goggles and gloves and use only in a
well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin,
eyes, and clothes and don't breathe vapors. Do
not use near open flame or excessive heat. The
flash point for Type #1 Dry Cleaning Solvent is
100F (38C) and for Type #2 is 138F (50C).
I f you become dizzy while using cleaning
s o l v e n t , get fresh air immediately and get
medical aid. If contact with eyes is made, wash
y o u r eyes with water and get medical aid
immediately.
Using clean cloth and solvent, clean hose clamp thoroughly.

Inspect hose clamp for wear or damage.
3. Inspect hose for cracks or tears.
4. Inspect bulkhead elbow and water separator fuel filter outlet elbow for stripped
threads.
5. Replace defective parts as required.
INSTALLATION:
1.
Using hands, install hose assembly (A) on
bulkhead elbow (B).
Using 7/8 inch wrench, tighten nut (C) of

hose assembly (A) on bulkhead elbow (B).
