DUST DETECTOR FILTER STRIP AND COVER REPLACEMENT (Sheet 3 of 3)
INSTALLATION:
Install filter tape (A) into retaining strap

(B) and insert into cover (C).
Install new preformed packings (D), (E),

and (F) into cover (C).
Pull out filter strip (A) so it extends about

1/2 inch past edge of cover (C).
Position assembled cover (C) onto turbo-

supercharger compressor housing (G).
Install screw and washer (H) through chain
5.
fastener (J) and cover (C).
Install screw (K) and new packing with
6.
r e t a i n e r (L).
7.
Install screw and washer (M).
8.
Using 1/2 inch wrench, tighten screws (H),
(K), and (M).
Perform operational test (page 10-298.17).

End of Task
Change 1
