Pipe cleaner (Item 75, Appendix D)
Tubing, non-metallic (Item 78, Appendix D)
Wire, 0.030 inch diameter (Item 63, Appendix D)
Cloth (Item 12, Appendix D)
Dry cleaning solvent (Item 55, Appendix D)
Goggles (Item 70, Appendix D)
Rubber gloves (Item 69, Appendix D)
P R E L I M I N A R Y PROCEDURE:
Remove dust detector filter strip and cover (page 7-130.11)

Avoid contact with skin, eyes, and
clothes and don't breathe vapors.

excessive heat. The flash point for
T y p e #1 Dry Cleaning Solvent is
1 0 0 F (38C) and for Type #2 is
138F (50C). If you become dizzy
while using cleaning solvent, get
fresh air immediately and get
m e d i c a l aid. If contact with eyes
is made, wash your eyes with water
and get medical aid immediately.
Using clean cloth dampened with cleaning
1.
solvent , clean cover (A) and mount-
ing face of compressor housing (B).
2.
Inspect compressor housing chamber (C)
for contamination. Clean chamber (C) as
required.
3.
Using pipe cleaner clean compressor
housing orifice chamber (C). Use wire
to clean orifice (D). Blow out chamber
(C) and orifice (D) by mouth, using a short
piece of tubing.
