LEFT TAILLIGHT - STOPLIGHT ASSEMBLY REPAIR (Sheet 2 of 3)
Remove two small stoplight and taillight lamps (E).

Remove large blackout drive lamp (F).

Using cross-tip screwdriver, remove two screws (G) and lockwashers (H) from socket and
wiring assembly (J).
6. Using cross-tip screwdriver, remove three screws (K) from grommet (L).
7. Remove socket and wiring assembly (J) with fingers by pressing out grommet (L) from body
assembly (M).
CLEANING AND INSPECTION:
1.
Inspect taillight and components for cracks. Replace any cracked items.

Inspect for mechanical damage and wear. If damaged or worn, replace.
Inspect taillight assembly for corrosion. Corroded areas which cannot be cleaned with

crocus cloth or steel wool is cause for replacement of that item.
