Cross-tip screwdriver (Phillips)
SUPPLIES:
Preformed packing
Crocus cloth (Item 14, Appendix D)
Silicone compound (Item 32, Appendix D)
Lockwashers (2 required)
PRELIMINARY PROCEDURES: Remove taillight from vehicle for complete repair
(page 10-204). Lamp replacement (steps 1 through 4)
can be done with taillight on vehicle.
DISASSEMBLY:
Using flat-tip screwdriver, loosen six captive
screws (A).
Using fingers, remove door assembly (B),

preformed packing (C), and six retainer rings (D).
Throw preformed packing (C) away.
