Check walkway treadplate for cracks, holes, broken  welds,  jagged  protrusions  and deformation. 16 Monthly    Tire Carrier and Ensure tire and rim can be safely lowered to Tire ground. Check pawl, ratchet and handle for cracks and deformation. Check wire rope and ‘U” clamps for kinks, broken  strands  and  serviceability. 17 Monthly    Bay  Roller Ensure roller rotates freely. Assembly Check roller for gouges, nicks, and cuts to Roller  damages  bay. surface  area. Ensure grease fitting is serviceable. Check axle, bearing and thrust washer serviceability. 18 Monthly    Walkway Ensure walkway is mounted securely to front Defect   presents support. personnel  or  equipment Check walkway treadplate for cracks, holes, hazard. broken  welds,  jagged  protrusions  and deformation.
