(13) Lock chain release lever [unlocked in step (9)].
(14) Turn tension adjustment until chain is tight; hand tighten only.
NOTE
The hook on the ratchet assembly can be tightened without pulling up the release lever.
(15) Attach anchor chain ratchet to front of pallet. Use procedures outlined in steps (7) thru (14), except that in
step (7) chains are run under pallet and attached to 10,000 LB (4540 kg) tie-down eyes at front of pallet.
