SUSPENSION TORSION BAR REPLACEMENT (Sheet 6 of 7)
6. Using crowbar (or pinch bar), apply upward
pressure to support arm (B) until blind spline
on bar (A) and index marks on support arm
(B) are alined.

Using slide hammer puller and adapter,
push end of bar (A) in as far as it
will go. Remove blinks and crowbar.
Remove slide hammer and adapter.

Apply grease to and of bar (A).

Using adjustable wrench with socket wrench adapter, screw end plug (C) and spacer (D) into place.

Remove socket wrench adapter.
Secure spacer (D) and end plug (C) with

lockwasher (E) and sinew (F).
12. Using deep socket with ratchet, tighten
screw (F).
