PUMP DRIVE SHAFT UNIVERSAL JOINT REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR (Sheet 4 of 5)
ASSEMBLY:
1.
Position universal joint (O) into pump end of driveshaft assembly (H).
2.
Press two universal joint caps (P) into pump end of driveshaft assembly (H).
3.
After two universal joint caps (P) are installed, use pliers to install snap rings (N) and wrap universal
joint (O) with masking tape to prevent caps (P) from falling off universal joint (O).
4.
Position universal joint (O) into driveshaft assembly (H) and at power take off yoke (G).
5.
Press four universal joint caps (P) into the driveshaft assembly (H) and power take off yoke (G) use
pliers to install snap rings (N).
6.
Carefully reassemble driveshaft assembly (H). Align the arrows on the drive shaft assembly (H) and
slide together, turn dust cap (M) clockwise to tighten.
