HEU DEPRESSURIZATION MANIFOLD REPLACEMENT (Sheet 2 of 2)
INSTALLATION:
NOTE
Remove all caps and plugs as necessary during installation.
1.
Position manifold (A) on a level surface and use adjustable wrench to install fittings (B, C, D, and E) into
manifold (A).
2.
Position manifold (A) on laying arm and use socket, ratchet, and extension to install four screws (F) and washers
(G) into depressurization manifold (A).
3.
Hold fitting (B) with adjustable wrench and use 1 3/8 inch wrench to connect hose "CC" (H) to fitting (B).
4.
Hold fitting (C) with adjustable wrench and use 15/16 inch wrench to connect hose "CE" (J) to fitting (C).
5.
Hold fitting (D) with adjustable wrench and use 15/16 inch wrench to connect hose "CD" (K) to fitting (D).
6.
Hold fitting (E) with adjustable wrench and use 11/16 inch wrench to connect hose "CB" (L) to fitting (E).
7.
Bleed hydraulic system (page 3-72).
8.
Check for hydraulic leaks and correct as necessary.
9.
Service hydraulic reservoir as needed (LO-12).
