Preformed packings (2 required)
Pipe tape (Item 19, Appendix D)

PRELIMINARY PROCEDURES:
Drain hydraulic reservoir (page 3-74)
Remove hose assembly "BV" (page 3-204.54)
REMOVAL:
1.
Use adjustable wrench to remove pipe tee (A) and connector (B) from check valve "DJ" (C). Remove preformed
packings (D).
2.
Use adjustable wrench to remove check valve "DJ" (C) from pipe tee (E).
INSTALLATION:
1.
Install preformed packings (D) in connector (B) and pipe tee (A). Use adjustable wrench to install connector (B)
and pipe tee (A) in check valve "DJ" (C).
2.
Use adjustable wrench to install check valve "DJ" (C) to pipe tee (D).
3.
Install hose assembly "BV" (page 3-204.54).
4.
Fill hydraulic reservoir (LO-12).
5.
Bleed hydraulic system (page 3-72).
6.
Check for hydraulic leaks and correct as necessary.
7.
Service main hydraulic reservoir (LO-12).
