SUPPLIES:
Drip pans (suitable containers)
Rags (Item 12, Appendix D)
Pipe tape (Item 19, Appendix D)
Protective caps and plugs (assorted sizes)
Cotter pins (as required)
Lockwashers (as required)

PRELIMINARY PROCEDURES:
Zero hydraulic pressure (page 3-70.5)
Remove hose assemblies "AR" and "AS" (page 3-204.28)
REMOVAL:
NOTE
Use rags and drip pans to catch excess hydraulic fluid. Cap or plug all lines and
fittings as they are disconnected.
1.
Use 1/2-inch socket to remove three screws (A) and lockwashers (B) from clamps (C). Remove clamp (C) from
vehicle.
2.
Hold nipple (D) with pipe wrench, use 1-5/16 inch wrench to remove quick disconnect socket (E).
3.
Remove other clamp (C) from nipple (D). Remove nipple (D) with elbow (F) from vehicle.
4.
Hold nipple (D) with pipe wrench and use adjustable wrench to remove elbow (F).
