The drain ports are located at bothends on the bottom and can be accessed with the bay either loaded on thetransporter or off-loaded onto timbers. Each plug is threaded, is removed witha 19-mm wrench (refer to Item 5, WP 0070 00) by turning counterclockwise,and is retained by a small cable to prevent loss.BILGE PLUGS — With the bay unfolded, a single bilge plug is removed fromeach of the four pontons whereby water is to be pumped out using theportable bilge pump (refer to WP 0053 00). The bilge ports are located at bothends of the roadway on the top of each ponton, and can only be accessed withthe bay unfolded.
