This column explains what type of service, specific damage, ordefect is to be checked.NOTEThe terms ready/available and mission capable refer tothe same staus: equipment is on hand and is able toperform its combat mission. Refer to DA Pam 738-750.e. Not Fully Mission Capable If. This column lists conditions that make theequipment unavailable for use as a result of damage, missing parts, or improperfunctioning that would represent a safety hazard. Do not accept or operateequipment with a condition noted in the “Not Fully Mission Capable If” column.REPORTING DEFICIENCIESIf any problem with the equipment is discovered while performing PMCS orduring operation that cannot be corrected at the operator’s level, it must bereported. Refer to DA Pam 738-750 and report the deficiency on EquipmentInspection and Maintenance Worksheet, DA Form 2404 or DA Form 5988-E.SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONSPreventive maintenance is not limited to performing the checks and serviceslisted in the PMCS tables.WARNINGSkysol-100 cleaning solvent is combustible. Usemechanical ventilation whenever product is used in aconfined space, is heated above ambient temperatures,or is agitated. DO NOT use or store near heat, sparks,flame, or other ignition sources. Keep container sealedwhen not in use.Contact with Skysol-100 cleaning solvent may causeskin irritation. Use chemical-resistant gloves. In caseof skin contact, remove any contaminated clothing andwash skin thoroughly with soap and water. Washcontaminated clothing before reuse. Eye contact maycause irritation, tearing, or blurring of vision. Use faceshield or goggles when eye contact may occur. In caseof eye contact, flush eyes with large amounts of waterfor at least fifteen (15) minutes or until irritationsubsides. Inhalation may cause irritation to upperrespiratory passages.
