TM 5-5420-278-100019 000019 00-8c. For a high-bank launch of IRB bays, the following requirements must be met:(1) The bank should slope no more than 5%. If the bank slope is greaterthan 5%, the front end of the launching CBT must be anchored.(2) The water velocity should not be greater than 5 ft (1.5 m) per second.(3) The bank height should be between 5–28 ft (1.5–8.5 m), and its sidemust be near vertical for clearance during launch.(4) The minimum water depth is 2 ft 8 in.
