10.9.4 Service/repair
10.9.4.1
Inspect components for damage and corrosion.
10.9.4.2
Examine bolts and nuts for damage to bolt heads and threads.
10.9.4.3
Replace components as required.
10.9.4.4
Examine the rod (11) for damage and replace as required. To replace, remove the
spring pin (12), fit a new rod (11) and secure in place with a new spring pin (12).
10.9.5 Installation
10.9.5.1
Locate bracket (6) on bridge module and secure with two bolts (7), lock washers (8)
and nuts (9). Use thread-locking compound on the bolt threads.
10.9.5.2
Locate bridge edge marker (10) on bracket (6).
10.9.5.3
Fit a washer (4) to bolt (5). Insert bolt (5) through bracket (6) and bridge marker
(10), secure with Belville disk spring (3), washer (2), and nut (1). Use thread-locking
compound on the bolt threads.
