FUEL BACKFLOW VALVE REPLACEMENT (Sheet 2 of 4)
REMOVAL:
1.
Using 7/8 inch combination
wrench, loosen nut (A) from
elbow (B) and disconnect hose
assembly (C).
2.
Insert fuel line plug in hose
assembly (C).
3.
Using 7/8 inch combination
wrench, loosen nut (D) from
elbow (E) and disconnect hose
assembly (F).
4.
Insert fuel line plug in hose
assembly (F).
5.
Using 9/16 inch combination
wrench, hold reducer (G).
6.
Using 1 inch combination wrench, disconnect fuel filter (H) from reducer (G).
7.
Using 5/8 inch combination wrench, loosen nut (J). Remove tube assembly (K) from fuel
backflow valve (L).
8.
Using 7/16 inch socket, remove two screws, flat washers, and lockwashers (M).
Remove fuel backflow valve (L) from bracket (N).
9.
Go on to Sheet 3
