6 in. ruler
Torque wrench with 1/2 in. drive (0-175 lb-ft) (0-237
Adapter socket, 3/8 in. to 1/2 in. drive
15/16 in. crowfoot attachment with 1/2 in. drive
SUPPLIES:
Cotter pins
Pencil (Item 71, Appendix D)
Pin (1/8 in. diameter welding rod, 4 in. long)
Paper (Item 72, Appendix D)

Remove transmission shroud (page 9-2)
Block vehicle tracks (TM 5-5420-202-10)
CABLE ADJUSTMENT:
1.
Set transmission shift lever to P (park) position (TM 5-5420-202-10).
2.
Using pliers, remove cotter pin (A) and pin (B) holding brake cable clevis (C) to parking
brake lever (D).
