Remove torsion bars 5L and 5R (TM 5-5420-202-20)
Remove floor access plate under operator's seat

The linkage assembly is located in
the left forward end of the engine
compartment.
NOTE
Linkage passes through bulkhead at
left of crew compartment under

Fire extinguisher cable and
tachometer cable removed
for clarity.
