FuEL-WATER SEPARATOR OPERATIONAL TESTS (Sheet 6 of 11)
15-Second Drain Test (Sheet 1 of 2)
1.
Using adjustable wrench, remove pipe plug from upper sensor hole (A).
CAUTION
Be very careful not to disturb center filter element. The
center filter element must be replaced if disturbed in
any way.
2. Using 7/16 inch wrench, remove eight
screws, lockwashers, and flat washers (B)
securing cover (C) to separator (D).
Remove cover (C) from separator (D).
3. Add fuel to fuel-water separator (D)
until fluid level is above upper sensor
hole (A).
4. Using adjustable wrench, install pipe
plug into upper sensor hole (A).
5. Place cover (C) in position and,
using 7/16 inch wrench, install
eight screws, lockwashers, and
flat washers (B).
