ENGINE SHROUD REPLACEMENT (Sheet 1 of 2)
TOOLS:
Ratchet with 1/2 in. drive
9/16 in. socket with 1/2in. drive
2 in. extension with 1/2 in. drive
Torque wrench with 1/2 in. drive (0-175 lb-ft)(0-237 NZm)
6 in. cross-tip screwdriver

PRELIMINARY
PROCEDURES:
Remove top deck assembly (page 16-21)
Remove transmission shroud (page 9-2).
REMOVAL:
1.
Using socket and extension, remove twenty screws, washers, and lockwashers (A) securing
engine shroud (B) to powerplant.
2.
Using cross-tip screwdriver, remove two screws and lockwashers (C) securing engine
shroud (B) to powerplant.
Remove engine shroud (B) from powerplant.

Go on to Sheet 2
