Check that indicator is present. NOTE If a hole is observed, monitor the bridge or raft’s performance. If visual evidence of taking on water is observed (like riding low in water), pump the water out while operations continue. If the water intake is faster than the pumping capacity, remove and replace the damaged bay. The damaged bay is deadlined until repairs are made. c. Ensure bilge plugs are secured and not cracked or broken. a. Damage prevents proper hook operation. c. Any plug is missing, cracked, or broken. 3 1 2
