Procedure
Check cylinder operation. (Should engage
front support bracket eye hole easily)
Inspect cylinder for leakage, burrs, nicks and
scratches.
Inspect hoses for compression and leakage.
Inspect cylinder bracket for cracks, broken
welds and deformation.
Check sheave operation. (Should rotate
freely).
Inspect for cracks, gouges, deformation, and
loose, broken or missing hardware.
Check boom operation. (Should raise and
lower without chatter or hesitation).
Inspect for cracks, broken welds and
deformation.
Inspect for warping.
Check roller operation. (Should rotate freely).
Inspect for burrs, nicks and gouges.
Inspect for broken welds and deformation.
NOTE
Use of U clamps to secure
cable is authorized only on
emergency situations.
