Outer Shroud Replacement (Sheet 1 of 1)
TOOLS:
l / 2 i n . combination box and open end wrench
l/2in. socket with l/2 in. drive
R a t c h e t with 1/2 in. drive
PRELIMINARY PROCEDURE:
R e m o v e powerplant (page 5-2)
REMOVAL:
NOTE
Procedures for replacement of the left or right
transmission shrouds are similar. Procedures
for the left side are shown.
Using 1/2 inch socket, remove

screw and lockwasher (A).
2.
U s i n g 1/2 inch socket and 1/2
inch wrench, remove three screws,
l o c k w a s h e r s , and nuts (B) securing
o u t e r shroud (C).
Remove outer shroud (C).
3.
INSTALLATION:
Position outer shroud (C) to turbocharger.

Install three screws, lockwashers, and nuts (B) to secure outer shroud (C) to turbocharger.

I n s t a l l screw and washer (A) to secure outer shroud (C) to turbocharger.
U s i n g 1/2 inch socket and 1/2 inch wrench, tighten screws (A and B).

Install powerplant (page 5-14).
